Convenient location, spacious and clean room with great view, helpful and friendly staff, well-maintained bathroom and kitchen facilities, safe and secure environment. Enjoyable experience, worth the price. We would definitely return.

I had a fabulous stay at this very nice hostel in the heart of the city. The friendly staff, good atmosphere, and convenient location made my trip enjoyable. I also appreciated the free rice and pasta provided, as well as the activities in the evening. The towels and toiletries were a nice touch too. I highly recommend this hostel.

We had a great stay at Downtown Backpackers! The beds were super comfortable, and we loved the chill lounge area with Netflix and the outdoor space to hang out and meet new people. The location was so convenient for exploring Rotorua. The staff were friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile. Plus, the free pasta and rice made our stay even better.

the location is fantastic, right next to the information site and surrounded by shops. the staff were warm and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. I enjoyed chatting with fellow backpackers from around the world. the place is cozy and comfortable, making it hard to leave. the WiFi worked well, and the spacious kitchen had everything I needed. This hotel is located right in the center of the city, on the main street. Its central location makes it very accessible to all amenities and ensures that you are right at the heart of the action in Rotorua.

We had an amazing stay here. The rooms and bathrooms were spotlessly clean and the hotel facilities were great. We found safe and free parking easily on the street and the location was perfect as it was right next to the bus stop where we got off. We could easily walk to the shops in town and the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

No major issues, everything was perfect.
